After many years of visiting Dorset for weekends and holidays but without going on the water, my wife, daughter and I decided to do our Power Boat level 2 qualification with Get Lost Powerboat Training. Noel was an incredibly enthusiastic and reassuring teacher and the course was a great success.
We were bitten by the boating bug and wanted to learn and to practise more. The Boat Club was the perfect way to do this throughout the year – we completed more courses and spent some wonderful days on the various club boats in all four seasons, with friends and family (and on two occasions dolphins).
The boats are very well maintained and kitted out (including foul weather gear and an electric SUP pump).
All of the team have been incredibly helpful, always happy to answer questions, suggest where to go and generally make our boat outings as enjoyable, safe and stress-free as possible. I have enjoyed meeting other members of the club too; when stuck in the office, seeing photos of what they have been up to helps one to get through the working week!
We have loved being members of the Boat Club and would highly recommend it as a cost-effective way of boating in a fun and supportive environment.
